Our community conduct rules are, boiled down to their base form, simple. Observe common sense, and treat others with basic decency and respect, and you will be welcomed with open arms.Due to themes present in our community (roleplaying of mature themes such as murder and violence, as pirates and their ilk are wont to do), we request that players present be 18 years of age or older.
A less condensed version of our rules, our code of conduct, and what we seek from our community is the following.We expect those who enter our community to treat others, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, sexuality, etc. with dignity, respect and kindness. Our community is filled with people from all walks of life, and our staff team has LGBT BIPOC on it. We will not tolerate racism, pedophilia, bigotry or other subjects.We have zero tolerance for harassment of any kind. If you are known for engaging in harassing behaviors - bullying, stalking, anything that falls under common sense definition of "harassing" - harassment campaigns, bullying and general undesirable behaviors, you will not be welcomed in this community. We will not hesitate to ban individuals who act in ways that threaten the good nature and camaraderie of our community, and we will not hesitate to remove harmful individuals' ability to access our community members.We follow a general three strike rule for non-threatening misbehaviors, and we do not rescind bans. Fish for fun! Fish for glory! Fish just for the fun of it!The Reel Grande! A bi-annual Freshwater and Saltwater fishing tournament, held to crown the reigning champion of the fishing frenzy -- The Reel Grande Champion!
How do you participate in the reele grand?
Show up to the event! The Reel Grande will have an "Opening Signup" window of the first 15 minutes of the event. You will speak to one of the hosts who have a green "Looking for Party" icon above them!
What are the "fishing mechanics" of the reele grande? How is a winner determined?
Each participant will join a party with one of the hosts!
The fishers will then have a single round of randomized rolls rolled for them by the hosts -- and from a table, will be told what they land!
The participants then take their time enjoying fishing RP! This will continue for three rounds.
After three rounds of rolls, the one(s) with the highest score will land The Big Fish!
In the case of a two-way tie, the tied individuals will have a final set of up to two rolls! If both rolls are tied, there will be TWO Reel Grande Champions!

What is each helper responsible for?
Caterers: Responsible for immersive RP wherein food and beverages are served to customers. Actual gil should not be required -- roleplayers are okay to tip the caterers. Items not required.
Bards: Responsible for immersive RP wherein music is played, either in-character or out-of-character via the Perform action. If using Perform, please notify the event organizers ahead of time.
Florists: Responsible for distributing the flower bouquets and delivering messages from loved ones.

La Noscean Pirate Group
The story of Puragatory is a long and storied one. Originally hosted on Gilgamesh, it was a haven for pirates and sailors alike, nestled in Shirogane. This sanctuary was also the headquarters of Saints & Sinners, a rag-tag group of pirates with a theme set around the seven deadly sins. It was a successful venture for many, many years. Over time, Saints & Sinners has been in many more places-- Mateus, Balmung, and now Kraken. The group has waxed and waned, and now with a fresh restart, we're hoping to see it grow once again. A safe place for all, LGBTQ+ and POC inclusive.

An initiative of the mercantile guilds of Limsa Lominsa to bolster trade and commerce in the wake of the end of the Garlean conflict, the Moraby Imports Market is a monthly event held to allow trade and commerce to flourish. A portion of proceeds from the event is pocketed by mercantile guilds and goes towards paying for more shipwright work.
